the endless - a somewhat gushing article appears on today's salon to coincide with the release of neil gaiman's return to his sandman character with the hard back book "the endless". a collection of short stories featuring a range of artists and each of the 7 endless. despite the at times overwhelming praise, the article is of some interest, the writer makes some salient points regarding gaiman's popularity, and as someone coming from the mainstream.
