something for the weekend, sir?

i have to admit i was getting a little concerned. normally the academy (fuck the hard wired advertising involved there) has details of what bands are playing in the next day or so on the front of the venue. it hasn't changed for a while now. so i wasn't sure whether that was a bad sign for ministry.

however the metro have a half page feature on the gig. an amusing little piece that seems to suggest that, yes, indeed, ministry will still play glasgow saturday night. and we are assured that they still rock!

on the opposite page is a similar piece on kid606 in edinburgh tonight. including quotes from the promoters - who seem to be the same people who did glass house transmission and posted on the e-l-e-c-t-r-o-n-i-c-a list. the piece is pretty much more of the same hype you always hear about kid606 and how brilliant he is, no really. some mention of recent single and new album are also made.

as for v/vm? yeah they are included in the listings pages with every tom, miguel and ministry.
